Can someone tell me about the splashguard on a whale?
I tried to look for a definition and it says:
a curved piece above the wheel of a bicycle or motorcycle to protect the rider from water or mud thrown up by the wheels)
My concern is that I have a scene on top of a whale and can’t really figure out what they mean by :
They also have a ridge running along the top of their heads and a very large splashguard in front of their two blowholes.
Can someone explain?
